The PR HSC (Plenderleath Runcie Highland Speed Championship) was formed in 2003 by Jenny Mlne to encourage drivers in the North of Scotland to compete in speed events. The championship started with 66 members and has grown to about 100 in 2007. The popularity of the championship has helped support local clubs and consequently events in Northern Scotland are usually over subscribed. The championship has also introduced Lossiemouth as a venue and it is well supported.
The championship has been successfully run and attracted many new comers to the sport and the hope is, in the future, they will progress to the Scottish championships.

These were as a rule held on loaned land for one or a few events per year and typically were on ex-wartime RAF airfields or Council public parks which had service roads used as the track.
